Job summary

Hancock Aviation in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Quality Manager / Chief Inspector to design and lead its quality organization. The role oversees the FAA Part 145 certification process from application through issuance, maintains the quality system, and holds final airworthiness release authority independent of production.

You will develop manuals, procedures, and training, coordinate with the FAA, manage calibration, audits, and vendor approvals while ensuring traceability of records; a weekday

Qualifications

• Valid FAA A&P license is required.
• At least 2 years in a Part 145 environment with inspection or quality focus.
• Experience with Part 145 certification or major manual revision is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual and procedures.
• Lead Part 145 certification efforts and manage ratings amendments.
• Hold and exercise final airworthiness release authority.
• Audit and improve the quality system, including training programs.
• Approve and audit vendors and outside repair sources.
• Maintain maintenance records for accuracy and traceability.
