Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Quality Control Inspector at the Wichita Service/Completion Center. The role requires inspecting aircraft and components, ensuring maintenance actions meet engineering standards and FAA FARs, and supporting inspectors across areas of qualification.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of aircraft maintenance experience, hold an A&P or Repairman certificate, and be able to read engineering documents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of aircraft maintenance experience.
• A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements.
• Perform hidden damage inspection.
• Ensure paperwork complies with engineering specifications and maintenance manuals prior to end-of-shift.
• Perform service inspections of aircraft or components per FARs and maintenance manuals.
• Assist other inspectors in area(s) of qualification.
• Perform Preliminary Inspection upon aircraft arrival.
• Inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs and alterations for corrective actions.
• Inspect flight control systems maintenance.
• Inspect fuel panels and final installations; provide OK to install.
• Inspect engine installation and provide Installation OK.
