Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in inspection of aircraft components.
• Must read and interpret drawings, OEM manuals and company instructions.
• Experience issuing 8130-3s is required.
• FAA Repair Station experience preferred.
• A&P Mechanic or Repairman Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of components and assemblies.
• Perform dimensional inspection using surface plates and layout tooling.
• Perform dimensional inspection using manual CMM, DCC CMM, and optical comparator.
• Review drawings and manuals; ensure conformance with requirements.
• Issue 8130-3s, AAC-038s and Certificates of Conformance.
• Initiate NCRs/NMRs for nonconforming materials.
• Maintain and review logs and records; support process improvements.
