Job summary

Textron Systems, ATAC, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA department and ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement across maintenance operations. The role requires 10+ years in aircraft maintenance management or QA, an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with IA preferred, and strong supervisory skills; travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance management or Quality Assurance.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required; Inspection Authorization preferred.
• Strong supervisory, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Quality Assurance efforts in ATAC operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance leadership to ensure compliance with QA requirements and regulations.
• Develop and review Maintenance Policies and Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs).
• Coordinate QA audits with Quality Control and act as primary safety inquiries contact.
• Manage non-conforming product processes with Quality Control and suppliers.
• Travel up to 20%.
