Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform inspections of aircraft maintenance and alterations for airworthiness, and to provide approval for return to service for work performed by the FAA-certificated Service Center. The role includes travel for AOG maintenance and mentoring others.

The ideal candidate will have an FAA A&P certificate, 5+ years in turbine aircraft maintenance, knowledge of FARs 43/145/91, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
• 5+ years in aircraft maintenance and alteration of turbine aircraft preferred.
• Thoroughly familiar with applicable regulations and inspection methods.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred; FAR 135/91 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to determine airworthiness and approve return to service.
• Adhere to FAA regulations, RSQCM, and approved data.
• Maintain knowledge of work scope for assigned aircraft.
• Determine airworthiness requirements per FAR 43.15.
• Perform conformity inspections for certification projects.
• Support import/export airworthiness approvals.
• Provide maintenance records for work performed.
• Mentor others and communicate with customers/vendors.
• Work assigned shifts and travel for AOG maintenance.
