Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a QC Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace components to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met. You will verify documents, interpret drawings, and use precision tools to uphold airworthiness standards.

This role supports quality and process improvements, with cross-training across inspection types. Requires English fluency, at least 1 year of related experience, and readiness for a challenging production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of quality inspection, manufacturing, maintenance, aviation, or related technical experience.
• Fluent English communication (reading/writing/speaking).
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills and measurement conversions.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate with employees, management, customers, and auditors.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, hidden damage, and final inspections on aerospace components.
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, documentation, and certifications against requirements.
• Interpret drawings, OEM manuals, travelers, and repair instructions.
• Use calibrated inspection equipment and precision measuring tools.
• Keep inspection records accurate and complete.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA, and internal requirements.
• Identify quality concerns and report deviations or unapproved materials.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on improvements.
• Cross-train on various inspections and processes.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused workspace.
