Job summary

Avfuel Corp is looking for a Full-Time Quality Assurance Technician in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The position demands exceptional customer service skills, mechanical proficiency, and troubleshooting experience in aviation fueling equipment.

Candidates will engage in both office and outdoor work, with required travel of 30%-60%. This role is hands-on and provides on-the-job training for individuals with a background in automotive, heavy truck repair, or aviation fuel handling.

Qualifications

• 12V wiring knowledge needed.
• Experience in aviation refueling equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot quality assurance and technical service calls.
• Conduct flow tests on refueler trucks.
• Travel required to FBO locations and suppliers.

Skills

12V wiring knowledge

Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

Climb ladders and vessels

Valid driver's license

Communication skills (verbal and written)

Microsoft Office proficiency

Mechanical aptitude (Automotive/Heavy Truck)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
