Job summary

Noblis is seeking Quality Assurance Specialists to support FAA programs, focusing on quality control across software and hardware in the development lifecycle. The role emphasizes implementing QA plans, conducting reviews, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in quality assurance in software/systems engineering.
  • “Strong understanding of ISO-9001 quality principles.”
  • “Experience with testing methodologies and tools; familiarity with Agile environments like Confluence/JIRA.”
  • “Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.”
  • “Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and manage quality documentation.”
  • “Experience in software/hardware evaluation in regulated environments.”
  • “U.S. Citizen or Green Card with 3+ years in U.S.; travel may be required.”
  • “Successful FAA background investigation and final suitability determination.”

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control methodologies for complex, computer-based environments.
  • Define quality characteristics, metrics, and resource needs for effective QC.
  • Establish processes for evaluating hardware, software, and documentation; participate in reviews.
  • Assist in developing and refining software QA processes and testing methodologies.
  • Devise tests to evaluate, debug, and verify system reliability against specs.
  • Execute QA procedures; investigate issues and implement solutions.
  • Support TPMs and KPIs through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform QA to validate testing events and ensure outputs meet requirements.
  • Report malfunctions and coordinate prompt resolutions.
  • Create, review, and maintain QAPs and SQAPs with stakeholders.
  • Manage quality reports using Confluence/JIRA; apply ISO-9001 principles.
