Hill International is seeking Civil Quality Assurance Inspectors in Austin, Texas to support ongoing airfield and civil infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes field verifications, documentation, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, reviewing contractor work for compliance, maintaining daily reports, and supporting project managers with pay applications and schedule evaluations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction inspection experience.
• Aviation-related construction experience on taxiways, runways, terminals, and underground utilities.
• Ability to pass TSA background check.
• Strong knowledge of environmental codes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections to verify conformance with contract documents and codes.
• Review contractor work for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Coordinate activities with third-party inspectors and project stakeholders.
• Document deficiencies and communicate findings promptly.
• Verify installed quantities for Pay Applications with Construction Managers.
• Maintain daily inspection reports of work reviewed and observations.
• Navigate project documentation including drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Perform daily field checks on civil and structural works including airfield pavements.
