Job summary

Air Wisconsin Airlines is seeking an Auditor within the Maintenance Department to develop, revise, and conduct audits under CAMP and CASS programs. The role requires evaluating compliance with EPA, DOT, FAA, and company policies, with a focus on quality assurance in a FAR Part 121 environment.

The position involves traveling up to 75% to assess maintenance service providers and regulators, preparing CARs and follow-ups, and ensuring accurate records while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance or Engineering, or equivalent practical career experience.
• Passport required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a FAR Part 121 Air Carrier environment with an emphasis on quality control/quality assurance functions.
• Have a good working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, revises and conducts Maintenance Department audits.
• Evaluates internal compliance and effectiveness of established policies, practices and procedures.
• Audits, inspections and evaluations of service providers per D091 Operations Specification.
• Conducts audits and evaluations of fuel service providers to ATA 103 specifications.
• Prepares for audits through research, risk analysis, and interviews.
• Prepares corrective action records (CAR) and follows up on deficiencies.
• Ensures observations align with General Maintenance Manual and FARs.
• Completes required records and reports.
• Ability to work independently or in a group; attendance is essential.
• Regular contact with regulators and vendors.
