Job summary

Egis Group in the United States is seeking a Project Manager for general aviation and non-hub airports. You will oversee FAA/state-funded projects and locally funded initiatives at public and private airports.

The role emphasizes design and construction administration, grant facilitation, coordination across disciplines, and adherence to master plans and FAA standards. Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 8+ years of experience required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with FAA/State DOT design standards.

Responsibilities

• Design FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Manage portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out.
• Ensure compliance with master plans, FAA grant assurances, and state design standards.
• Apply FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings.
• Develop contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordinate engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Maintain accurate daily time keeping.
