Job summary

PMA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide owner-representative planning and coordination for airport-led capital projects at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The role focuses on aligning construction with operational needs, schedules, and stakeholder decisions.

Initial assignments may include passenger boarding bridge and gate improvements, with potential to expand into related terminal interior scopes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience on airport construction or related capital projects.
• Strong coordination with airport authorities, airlines, designers and contractors.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day owner-side contact for airport-led projects and coordinate requirements among stakeholders.
• Review scope, design, phasing, logistics and schedules to avoid conflicts with gates and aircraft operations.
• Coordinate gate closures, bridge outages, and operational mitigations.
• Track stakeholder decisions, actions, and deadlines to keep progress on track.
• Prepare regular project reporting and escalate significant risks or decisions.
