Job summary

MANTECH in Stafford, VA seeks an Aviation Project Manager for advanced technology development supporting USMC aviation programs. This role reports to the Senior USMC Portfolio Manager and interfaces with MCWL, ACE Branch, DoD offices, and industry partners.

Responsibilities include coordinating with HQMC, FMF, and industry to evaluate candidate technologies, producing executive-level memos and analyses, and overseeing planning, budgeting, and execution across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years project management experience, or 8+ years without a degree.
• Experience integrating new technologies into military platforms, weapons, or systems.
• Experience with classified program environments for government and industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior officials and execs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HQMC, FMF, DoW offices, and industry to introduce, support, and evaluate candidate technologies for USMC aviation.
• Collaborate with vendors and other government agencies to align projects with USMC aviation priorities.
• Develop quantitative and qualitative analytical products to enable executive resource allocation and roadmap decisions.
• Provide resource planning across Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes.
• Manage integration of new technologies into USMC aviation platforms, weapons, and systems.
• Prepare executive memos, agreements, letters, briefs, plans of action and milestones, and technical reports.
