Job summary

Prime Engineering, Inc., a Stratus Team Company, is seeking an Aviation Project Manager with airfield and landside airport experience to expand our Florida and southeastern aviation practice. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and pursue new opportunities in the aviation market.

Responsibilities include overseeing engineering design from concept to client acceptance, pricing development, and acting as account manager for strategic clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university; master's degree in related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of consulting experience or managing aviation design efforts with extensive experience in client management within aviation for developing and tracking new opportunities.
• Airport Planner or Florida PE Preferred (ability to obtain within 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing project management of engineering design from concept through client acceptance in aviation design field
• Function as an account manager for select strategic accounts within the business unit and as firm point of contact for other clients
• Actively identify and pursue new opportunities within aviation industry.
• Develops pricing models for pursuits and helps multiple disciplines develop market based pricing
• Lead high-performing team, skillfully cultivating and nurturing valuable partnerships with key clients.
• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Unified Facilities Criteria, and similar
• Knowledge of civil airside and landside design
• Extensive Experience in ramp, taxiway, taxi lane, and runway design
