Job summary

Garver’s Louisiana Aviation team in New Orleans seeks an Aviation Project Manager / Office Leader to drive business development, design, planning and project administration for commercial service and general aviation airports in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.

The role oversees project delivery, coordinates multi-discipline teams, maintains client relationships, and ensures effective coordination with funding agencies. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of total experience in civil engineering.
• 6–8+ years of civil engineering experience for airport clients.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Market research and business development to win engineering projects at commercial service and general aviation airports in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.
• Project and client management for horizontal and vertical design projects at aviation airports.
• Significant design and construction oversight for multiple aviation clients.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline design engineers, planners, and technicians.
• Coordinate with clients and funding agencies.
