Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager for aviation projects. You will lead design, client interactions, and service delivery across airfield and landside infrastructure, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.

The role requires a PE license and 8–15 years of aviation/transportation experience; strong communication and leadership are essential. Roles offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, hybrid, or office-based options.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required.
• 8–15 years of PM and civil/site design experience; aviation preferred.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation infrastructure projects and manage all design phases.
• Oversee runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities and stormwater design.
• Serve as primary client contact for airports and partner firms.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams and review deliverables.
• Develop proposals, manage subconsultants and lead progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, DOT and state regulations.
• Support business development across Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
