Job summary

Stantec Consulting Services Inc. is seeking an Aviation Project Manager for the U.S. West to lead planning, design, and construction administration for airfields and related facilities.

You will direct project teams, coordinate with senior leaders, and ensure compliance with FAA standards on multiple aviation projects across varying scales. Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in Civil/Construction Engineering, a PE license, and at least 8 years in aviation, including 4 years in PM roles.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year college level program in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of aviation experience with at least 4 years as a Project Manager.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages landside and airside contracts with airport clients.
• Attends airport board meetings and communicates project status to boards.
• Markets and develops relationships with aviation clients and stakeholders.
• Establishes goals, milestones, budgets, and schedules; coordinates resources.
• Reviews project documents for conformity and quality; ensures FAA design standards are met.
• Oversees teams; ensures work is on schedule and within budget per contract.
• Participates in grants, funding applications, and project proposals.
