Job summary

Embraer seeks a Project Manager to oversee programs ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and contracts to meet milestones and deliver high-quality products to customers in the aviation sector.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA, PMP certification, 5–7 years in aviation project management, and 2+ years as a project/program manager with strong organizational and cost-control abilities.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in a related field; PMP or related certification preferred.
• A&P certification preferred.
• 5–7 years in aviation project management with at least 2 years in a PM role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the efforts of functional departments to meet sales orders and budgets.
• Interfaces with customers on schedules, meetings, and problems; informs customers on status.
• Plan, direct and coordinate operations of specific projects through PDR, CDR, FAI and delivery.
• Plan and maintain systems and procedures for operating efficiency.
• Manage staff for optimum performance.
• Lead executive and program reviews onsite at customer facility with OEM and airline customers.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet milestones and ensure on-time delivery.
