Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Six years of related aviation/manufacturing experience.
• Engineering experience or education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and planning abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary procurement focal between the company and vendors.
• Buy high-cost and complex materials or services for the company.
• Assess supplier proposals including terms, pricing and schedules.
• Assist sourcing strategy and contract development with Program Managers.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving of inventory with vendors and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain purchasing data for budgets and bids.
• Proactively manage suppliers' schedule performance.
• Interface with maintenance and other departments.
