Job summary

GA Telesis, a global aviation solutions leader in Fort Lauderdale, seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist to source surplus materials and manage strategic inventories for the Flight Solutions Group. You will work with suppliers, log pricing data, and generate purchase orders to support multiple programs.

Travel may be required for vendor meetings; you will build supplier relationships and negotiate cost positions to keep the fleet in excellent shape while maintaining compliance and on-time

Qualifications

• 1+ year in aviation-related field.
• Strong interest in aviation.
• Understand basic supply and demand concepts.
• Ability to close deals with customer focus.
• Excellent organizational and time management.

Responsibilities

• Research, qualification, and selection of sources for brokered and rotatable / commercial aircraft parts.
• Restock engine and airframe parts for programs.
• Prepare, solicit, and evaluate competitive bids.
• Negotiate best possible cost positions.
• Generate quotes for rotatable and brokered parts.
• Coordinate with Operations and Quality to resolve documentation, inspection, and shipping issues.
• Issue purchase orders and expedite brokered parts to final destination.
