Job summary

V2X Inc in Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled procurement professional to support the E-6B Senior Procurement Technical Advisor. You will coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for repair and overhaul of aircraft parts and assist in evaluating manufacturing capabilities.

This role requires interpreting aircraft drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and preparing quotes, source justifications, and site visits to assess supplier capacity. A DoD clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years aircraft maintenance experience (preferred DoD familiarity).
• Experience with aircraft technical data, engineering drawings, and technical directives.
• Customer oriented with ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Must meet eligibility for U.S. DoD secret level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the E-6B Senior Procurement Technical Advisor.
• Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for repair and overhaul of aircraft systems parts and the manufacture of aircraft structural parts.
• Read and interpret aircraft drawings and determine suppliers capable of manufacturing aircraft systems and structural parts.
• Coordinate and assist suppliers in developing repair and overhaul procedures.
• Assist the procurement team with request for quotes.
• Provide technical input to Sole Source Justifications in accordance with standards, polices, and procedures.
• Provide technical input for Limited Source Justifications in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical input for Similar Too Analysis in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate and process First Article Inspection Reports with suppliers and Fleet Support Team Engineers.
• Assist with Request for Engineering Information (REI) and Temporary Engineering Instructions (TEI).
• Assist supplier capability and approval process by conducting site visits and assessing manufacturing and technology capabilities.
