Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking candidates for Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer. You will inspect, service, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic aircraft systems, including brakes and landing gear, and diagnose malfunctions to ensure flight readiness.

Training is structured: 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training plus 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Candidates earn a regular paycheck during training and qualify for tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard and meet eligibility requirements.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain common and special tools to inspect, service, and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Maintain facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials.
• Inspect, service, and repair aircraft systems such as brakes, rudders, flaps, and landing gear.
