Air National Guard Units in Pittsburgh seeks an Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic (WG-8268-10) to perform maintenance and checks on pneudraulic systems. You will install, modify, and repair pneudraulic components and conduct organizational and field maintenance including inspections.

The role requires readiness evaluations participation (ORI/IG/UE) and may involve other duties as assigned. A Secret clearance is required and the deadline is 2026-10-21.

Job description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1367000 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. Accessioning will not occur until the incumbent vacates the position.

Key Responsibilities

As an AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-8268-10, you will perform maintenance and operational and functional checks on assigned pneudraulic systems. Perform installation, modification, and/or repair of aircraft pneudraulic systems. Perform organizational and field level maintenance to include periodic, phase time, calendar, unscheduled, and special inspection.

Prepare for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations such as ORI, IG and UE inspections, mobility, and command support exercises. Perform other duties as assigned.
