Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking an Aviation Planner in Raleigh, NC to lead airport planning projects within our Aviation Services team.

You will collaborate with engineers, planners, and technicians to analyze and document impacts on municipal and regional airports, including master and layout plans and related environmental work. This role demands technical writing excellence, a strong aviation knowledge base, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and staff while communicating

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Airport Management or related field from an accredited college/university.
Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience including Airport Master Plans, Airport Layout Plans, and environmental documents (EIS, EAs, CATEXs, Noise Modeling).
Demonstrated working knowledge of aviation principles.
Strong technical writing ability.
Strong quality assurance and commitment to task.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; limited travel to project sites, agencies and other offices.

Responsibilities

Assess, analyze, disclose and document impacts on municipal and regional airport projects.
Prepare Airport Master Plans and Airport Layout Plans; address environmental planning and noise modeling.
Manage budgets, schedules, and staff including subconsultants; maintain client communication.
