Ascent Aviation Services in Marana, AZ is seeking a Planning Manager to lead Planning and Production Control within our aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul organization. You will oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Five plus years maintenance planning experience.
• Excellent communication (reading/writing) in English.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adapt to emergencies.
• Proven leadership and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Understanding of MRO operations and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule aircraft maintenance tasks, ensuring FAA compliance and proper sequencing.
• Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Translate customer scopes into clear work instructions and accompanying documents.
• Create and maintain critical path flow charts and planning entries.
• Manage staffing with HR and Sales for billable work and upcoming projects.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance tracking for the team.
