Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Aviation Planning to lead and contribute to comprehensive airport master plans and related studies.

You will coordinate with clients and regulators, prepare technical documents, and support grant applications while ensuring timely delivery and quality results. The role requires strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars and orders, and 8 years of airport planning experience with increasing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Aviation Management, Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant airport planning experience with increasing responsibilities and project leadership.
• FAA advisory circulars and orders knowledge.
• Experience with client relations and regulatory organizations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare airport master plans, layout plans, site selection studies, obstruction analysis, forecasting, noise and environmental evaluations, terminal plans, sustainability evaluations, business plans, and other airport planning tasks.
• Assist aviation market in smart airport planning programs and grant applications.
• Communicate analysis results via memoranda, reports, graphics, and presentations to government bodies and elected officials.
• Prepare technical proposals, scope of work, and external relationships.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams; travel for project tasks; overtime as needed.
