Job summary

A leading aviation company is seeking a Logistics Purchaser to support the Procurement department by sourcing parts and materials. The ideal candidate will manage orders, develop vendor relationships, and analyze requisitions while possessing strong communication skills and proficiency in software applications. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand aircraft parts and maintenance manuals.
• Proven keyboarding skills for efficient data entry.
• Working knowledge of maintenance activities, parts, tools.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for parts and complete associated reporting.
• Work with a diverse group of employees.
• Analyze purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy.

Skills

Proficiency with MS Office suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to learn complex software products quickly

Knowledge of aviation terms and activities

Education

High School diploma or GED

Some college preferred

Tools

Pentagon software suite

Industrial purchasing software systems
