Job summary

Jet Parts Engineering, Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a Parts Business Unit Manager to oversee commercial and financial results for the Parts Business Unit within the JPE group.

The BUM will report to the Vice President of Sales, coordinating with the Sales Team on improving customer relations, value-based pricing, contract review, and new business development. This role offers a clear path to senior management and requires 25–40% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of total experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in aviation/aerospace or highly engineered manufacturing/distribution.
• Experience leading direct reports or cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated P&L, pricing, or commercial ownership.
• Results‑oriented self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset.
• Data-driven with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid business acumen with ability to prioritize multiple items.
• Demonstrates leadership with accountability and influence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office; comfortable with CRM and BI tools.
• Ability to travel 25-40%.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L accountability for the Parts BU; achieve bookings, sales, and EBITDA objectives.
• Drive value creation through profitable new business, value-based pricing, and productivity.
• Execute a BU strategy that delivers year-over-year growth in revenue and profitability.
• Identify, prioritize, and secure profitable new business, including PMA part development on existing and new platforms.
• Lead contract review and negotiation, including long-term agreements, pricing agreements, and purchasing agreements.
• Conduct regular pricing analysis to ensure market-based pricing across the portfolio.
• Prepare and execute a comprehensive Annual Operating Plan for the BU.
• Develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews for executive management.
• Support the sales team in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
• Leverage business intelligence and sales analytics to track market, product, and customer performance and inform decisions.
• Foster a performance-oriented, entrepreneurial ownership culture with high accountability and a bias for action.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
