Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking an experienced aircraft painter to join our maintenance team in North Carolina. The role covers surface prep, masking, priming, base coats and final finishes, performed in a hangar environment and aligned with FAA requirements.

You will work with Lead Painters, maintain clean work areas, and adapt to variable shifts including weekends while handling hazardous materials in accordance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• 5–10 years corporate jet painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, masking, sanding, priming.
• Clean aircraft surfaces and paint booths; ensure contamination-free surfaces.
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings per specs; apply base coats and topcoats.
• Layout paint schemes; measure, mask for trim colors; prepare surfaces for trim.
• Perform detailing and final finish; inspect workmanship per standards.
• Operate and maintain paint equipment; follow FAA/OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with Lead Painters and maintenance personnel; ensure on-schedule completion.
