West Star Aviation is seeking a Paint Technician on 2nd shift in Grand Junction, CO. You will prepare surfaces, mix paint, apply coats, and complete intricate detailing in a fast-paced hangar setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vo-tech school in paint or on-the-job experience preferred.
• Driver's license is ideal (for travel) or passport may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer.
• Blowing and cleaning aircraft with thinner.
• Washing the paint booth.
• Applying all layers of paint including top coat.
• Laying out stripe and design schemes.
• Prep and scuff paint for trim.
• Re-masking aircraft and detail work.
• Inspect completed paint jobs.
• Paint mixing and matching.
• Communicate clearly in English.
