Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Paint Technician to apply and finish paint on aircraft in a fast-paced hangar environment. You will handle masking, priming, color matching and top coats, with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

The role offers a pathway across Tech I–III levels, with overtime, benefits from day one, and a focus on teamwork and quality workmanship. Valid license and willingness to travel may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vo-tech in paint preferred.
• A valid driver's license; passport ideal for travel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a heated hangar environment.

Responsibilities

• Masking and taping parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer and paint application including top coats.
• Inspect completed paint jobs and ensure quality.
• Prepare and layout designs; communicate clearly in English.
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety rules; work with supervisor guidance.
