Job summary

HRD Aero Systems is seeking a Cleaning Technician to perform minor service functions on aviation safety equipment in a shop setting. The role involves disassembly, cleaning, evaluation, and repair per OEM specs, reading manuals, and documenting work performed.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in a shop, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic tool operation with good reading skills in English.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hand tool operation.
• Able to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Able to read and interpret manuals and drawings.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Lift up to 50 lbs (up to 3 hours per day).

• 1+ year of experience working in a shop environment.
• Previous repair and/or maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor service functions including disassembly, visually evaluate, clean, and repair articles per OEM specs and procedures.
• Read and interpret information, manuals, or other materials to determine procedures required for service.
• Complete documents and forms as part of the task.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and follow company procedures.
