Rio Staffing LLC is sourcing an Assistant Operations Manager for an FAA-regulated aviation organization in Burlington, WA. The role partners with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure compliant, efficient production, inspection, and repair processes while directing personnel to meet schedules safely.

The position requires a high school diploma and prior experience in FAA repair or manufacturing environments, with strong knowledge of FAA regulations and supervisory capabilities.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in FAA Part 145 or Part 21 environments.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations applicable to the org’s operations.
• Experience supervising or leading repair/manufacturing personnel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering docs.
• Familiarity with repair station manuals and quality systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform work as a technician for 20+ hours per week while ensuring FAA compliance and QCM requirements.
• Supervise production, maintenance, inspection, and support staff, setting daily priorities.
• Monitor workflow, manpower, tooling, and equipment to meet schedules and address resource gaps.
• Oversee manufacturing and production activities (Part 21) and daily inspection/repair tasks (Part 145).
• Ensure records and FAA documentation are complete, accurate, and traceable.
• Assist with FAA inspections, audits, and root-cause investigations.
• Stop work when safety or compliance may be compromised and escalate accordingly.
