About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Aviation Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at their facility in Welkom . This pivotal role involves managing flight scheduling, ground support, resource allocation, and ensuring seamless coordination between various operational departments. You will be instrumental in optimizing efficiency, maintaining high safety standards, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This hybrid role requires a strong presence on-site for key operational oversight while also allowing for remote management of administrative functions and strategic planning. You will lead a dedicated team, drive operational improvements, and ensure compliance with all aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient flight schedules and operational plans to meet business objectives.
• Manage and coordinate ground handling services, including baggage, fueling, and aircraft turnaround.
• Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, ensuring optimal utilization.
• Ensure strict adherence to all South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements
