Job summary

Lufthansa Cargo AG is seeking an Operations Agent to support load control, cargo, ramp, and ground handling activities at our airport operations. You will work in a dynamic and international setting, coordinating critical tasks and ensuring compliance with procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, fluency in English, and a willingness to work shifts. Experience in airfreight handling and a valid driving license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-6 years of experience in related positions desirable.
• Experience in airfreight handling and operations preferred.
• Fluency in English required.
• Clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Calculation and planning of load distribution for the aircraft per GOM rules and regulations.
• Cargo onload optimization considering aircraft volume and weight.
• Prepare flight-relevant documents such as general declarations and permits for local customs authorities.
• Produce arrival and departure notifications.
• Dispatch of operational messages and post-flight activities.
• Ensure adherence to security and safety procedures.
• Provide crew support including briefings, catering and hotel bookings.
• Monitor and control subcontractors and handling companies, requesting corrective action as needed.
• All other duties as assigned or required.
