Job summary

Talbert, Bright & Ellington, LLC. (TBE) is seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative II to support airfield and landside projects at airports across the region. Location: Wilmington, NC.

Compensation: $75,000 - $115,000 per year. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in field inspection or 5+ years with an associate degree or 2+ years with a bachelor's in civil engineering, plus strong communication and integrity.

• Ability to interpret engineering plans and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site representative for TBE during the construction phase of assigned projects.
• Monitor and document daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare daily reports, field notes, photo documentation, and quantity tracking for contractor work.
• Coordinate and participate in construction meetings with airport staff, contractors, and project designers.
• Review contractor pay applications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Verify quality control measures, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Assist with materials testing coordination and tracking.
• Communicate field observations and issues clearly to the design team and airport staff.
• Support project closeout efforts including punch lists, final inspections, and record drawings.
