Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a .NET Architect / Lead Engineer to design scalable, secure enterprise applications for global aviation clients. You will collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and cloud teams to drive modernization and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and maintaining desktop applications using WPF.
• Proven expertise in application architecture, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and the ability to leverage AI-based solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Experience developing secure, reliable, and high-availability enterprise applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
• Experience within the travel industry, preferably supporting airline business processes and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide enterprise-scale solutions using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, WPF, and Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scalable application architectures and establish development best practices.
• Lead technical decision-making to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise platforms.
• Support the development and modernization of mission-critical applications for global airline and aviation clients.
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, coding guidelines, and security requirements.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions to improve engineering productivity and business outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship throughout the software development lifecycle.
