Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an NDT Technician to join our maintenance team. The role requires learning and applying NAS 410 standards, performing NDT tasks, and maintaining certifications. Strong attention to detail and clear English communication are essential.

You will work with x-ray, ultrasonic, eddy current and other NDT equipment in an aircraft hangar setting, with potential for night/weekend shifts and travel considerations as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and implement NDT skills per NAS 410.
• English communication required.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT tasks under supervision: disassembly, cleaning, preparation, testing, post cleaning.
• Maintain NDT certifications per NAS 410 and company practice.
• Maintain shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Use electronic training materials and maintenance databases.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
