Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an Aviation NDT Department Manager to lead a nationwide aviation NDT division from Marietta, GA. You will oversee day-to-day operations, schedule work, hire and certify technicians, and drive account growth while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years in aerospace NDT with ET/RT/UT/MT/PT/VT experience and a strong mix of operational and commercial leadership. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Aerospace NDT experience.
• Experience with ET, RT, UT, MT, PT and VT.
• Strong operational, commercial and leadership ability.
• Level III certification would be advantageous.

Job description

I’m supporting a leading national testing and inspection organization with the appointment of an Aviation NDT Department Manager / Accountable Manager.

This is a genuine opportunity to lead and grow an established aviation NDT division across the United States.

You’ll take responsibility for:

• Leading approximately 15 employees
• Day-to-day NDT operations and scheduling
• Hiring, training and certifying technicians
• Quality, safety and equipment oversight
• Account management and business development

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5+ years of Aerospace NDT experience
• Experience with ET, RT, UT, MT, PT and VT
• Strong operational, commercial and leadership ability
• Level III certification would be advantageous

The position is based in Marietta, GA, with up to 25% travel to customer locations.
