Job summary

Standard Aero in Springfield, IL is seeking a Level II NDT Technician to inspect aircraft parts using FPI, MT, UT, and ET. You’ll document results and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manuals.

Role requires NAS 410/ASNT Level II or higher certification, and previous aircraft structural or airframe experience. On-the-job training and career development are provided in a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Certified as a level II or III according to ASNT or NAS 410 as a level II for FPI/MT/UT/ET.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Experience as an aircraft structural/sheet metal mechanic or airframe mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform the specific non-destructive test processes (FPI, ET, MT, UT).
• Inspect all types of aircraft parts before, during, and after maintenance.
• Interpret test results and document completion.
