Federal Express Corporation seeks an AML-certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Allentown, PA. Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, engine runs, and tow operations to minimize delays and keep flight schedules on track.
You must hold an FAA A&P license and a valid driver’s license, with at least 3 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in both line and hangar settings is required.
Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi and troubleshooting aircraft at various MX locations as assigned to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate Manuals. Communicate exceptions as they occur and create accurate and complete write-ups with all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, when there is no manager or lead onsite, to accept the daily work release plan. Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED Current A&P Licenses required. Valid non-restricted driver’s license from the state of residence
Thirty-six (36) months aircraft maintenance experience as a FedEx AMT.
FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. A valid non-restricted driver license from the state of residence is required.
The desired location for this position would be Allentown, PA. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
