Job summary

United's Technical Operations team seeks an experienced MRO Program Manager to oversee a major supplier facility. You will ensure the highest levels of quality, drive performance, and manage within budget while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver heavy maintenance checks.

The role requires a Bachelor's or aviation experience, an FAA A&P certificate, 7+ years in aviation with 3+ years in leadership, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or aviation experience required.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
  • 7+ years in aviation with at least 3+ years in supervisory/project management roles.
  • Aircraft heavy maintenance and airline operations experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; leadership skills essential.
  • US work authorization without sponsorship required.
  • Interview process required; reliable attendance essential.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of a management team; staffing and schedule development.
  • Oversee base checks and execution; coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Interface with supplier leadership on quality, performance, and finances.
  • Reconcile invoices and pursue cost-saving opportunities for materials and labor.
