Job summary

McKnight International is seeking a senior Mechanical Project Manager for aviation capital programs in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on leading mechanical scopes for substations and airport infrastructure, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and cost control.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of mechanical project leadership in aviation settings, strong scheduling, QA/QC, and a proven track record of delivering complex facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience managing complex, multi-phase capital construction programs.
• Experience supporting aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with aviation stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
• Coordinate planning and execution across project teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee mechanical scopes for aviation infrastructure within an active airport environment.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and risk; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present project status reports and executive-level briefings.
