Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee parts and materials for Maintenance, including stockroom operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory integrity.

You will lead Materials Specialists, enforce safety, and ensure regulatory compliance. This on-site role requires forklift operation, the ability to pass HAZMAT, and a track record in aviation or supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and other machinery.
• Must be able to pass and remain current on HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling course.
• Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Materials Specialists and Leads.
• Coordinates all stockroom activity.
• Coordinates all aspects of base inventory operations including, but not limited to, timely and accurate shipping, receiving, warehouse transfers, parts issues, returns to inventory.
• Insures that associated computer transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Insures proper storage, identification and segregation of parts.
• Oversees shelf life program and insures that shelf life is not exceeded.
• Enforces stockroom security, cleanliness and organization.
• Insures the highest level of inventory integrity is maintained.
• Oversees inventory-related projects and insures timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensures compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations.
• Completes and maintain training in safety, HAZMAT, parts systems, SITA airport access for vehicles, etc.
• Oversees the shipping functions in accordance with company and regulatory shipping standards.
• Screens, interviews and makes recommendations for hiring potential employees.
• Coaches and provides leadership, direction, motivation and supervision of direct reports.
• Appraises performance, provides performance feedback, takes corrective actions and oversees training and development of staff.
