Job summary

Textron Aviation in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Material Clerk to support production by ensuring smooth material flow and accurate handling of parts and tools. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and shipping materials, plus coordinating with production control and other departments to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, ERP and Office experience, and at least 3 years of related work; forklift training may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with aircraft parts and parts control procedures.
• Experience with ERP and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience, or prior Textron Aviation Material Clerk experience.
• Ability to obtain required training for moving equipment (forklift, tug, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and present materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain adequate levels of materials, tools, and assemblies.
• Coordinate with production control and other departments.
• Track material age and coordinate order releases.
• Receive, inspect, and handle incoming goods.
• Perform packing, crating, and shipping duties.
