Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking Material Handlers to join us at our Columbus, Ohio base. This position maintains, ships, and handles aircraft parts and materials to support maintenance tasks and on-time operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to operate forklifts and related equipment.
• Must pass HAZMAT Dangerous Goods course.
• Basic computer skills in MS Office.
• Willing to travel for training and company needs.
• Self-starter with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Issue and deliver parts and materials to departments using tracking system.
• Handle parts to prevent damage during shipping and receiving.
• Process computer transactions for parts issuance, returns, and transfers.
• Receive, inspect, and log parts and materials.
• Store, identify, and manage shelf life compliance.
• Expedite overdue repair and purchase orders for critical parts.
• Monitor SUP to prevent entry of unapproved parts.
• Perform shipping for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Review open requisitions daily and conduct cycle counts.
• Collaborate with departments to complete maintenance tasks.
• Conduct monthly self-audits (shelf life, hazmat files, FAA audits).
• Maintain tooling and a clean, secure stockroom.
• Ensure hazmat and EPA policy compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
