Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Analyst to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to translate forecasts into actionable purchasing and delivery plans through the S&OP process. You will help drive revenue, control costs, and meet customer demand.

In this role, you will monitor kit assembly health, review MRP outputs, and lead cross-functional planning discussions to support production schedules and ITasca-based MPS operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain planning.
• Experience with SAP, Navision or comparable ERP/MRP applications with ability to teach others
• Experience with complex configuration management in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Operations teams to monitor kit assembly health, manage risks, and ensure material availability.
• Review MRP outputs and adjust plans to align supply with demand.
• Lead cross-functional planning discussions related to engineering changes, material health, and product revisions.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material receipts support production schedules.
• Align material availability with demand and capacity plans alongside MPS teams.
• Support production execution activities, including MPS operations in Itasca.
• Drive improvements in planning, reporting, and communication processes, including weekly production reporting.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with Accounting to support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
