Cotulla Education seeks an Aviation Maintenance Technical Training Manager to lead instructional development for AMT instructors and program coordinators across AIM campuses. You will coach, observe, and mentor to elevate aviation maintenance education and outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus leadership, curriculum updates, and adherence to FAA Part 147 standards while traveling to campuses and supporting accreditation and inspections.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
• Minimum of five years of aviation maintenance industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAA Part 147 regulations and aviation maintenance education.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, train, and develop others.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 80–100% including overnight travel.
• Residence within daily driving distance of an AIM campus.

Responsabilités

• Develop onboarding and hands-on training for Aviation Maintenance Technician Instructors.
• Coach instructors on instructional best practices, classroom management, student engagement, and adult learning principles.
• Observe instruction and provide timely, developmental feedback.
• Partner with instructors to create individualized professional development plans and ongoing coaching.
• Facilitate instructor workshops, webinars, and professional development sessions.
• Support curriculum implementation, assessments, and instructional resources.
