Job summary

AerSale, Inc. is seeking an OJT Trainer for its CFR Part 145 repair operations. You will develop and deliver hands-on and classroom training to technicians to ensure FAA compliance and proper documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA A&P certificate, have 5+ years of heavy maintenance experience, and can mentor staff while interpreting manuals, data, and engineering documents. This role requires physical work in indoor/outdoor hangar environments.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of CFR Parts 25, 43, 121, and 145.
• Strong technical, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical data, and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on and classroom training for maintenance personnel.
• Train employees on FAA regulations, Repair Station procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Instruct personnel on maintenance documentation, work orders, logbook entries, and regulatory compliance.
• Teach basic and advanced maintenance skills, including tool usage and accountability, fastener removal/installation, safety wiring and torque procedures, component removal and installation, troubleshooting and inspections, and engine maintenance.
