Job summary

ACI Jet is seeking an Maintenance Technician (Flight Operations) in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will perform and support aircraft maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant repairs and accurate documentation within a high-tempo environment.

Requirements include a valid A&P license, a High School Diploma, and at least 2 years of maintenance experience. Strong English communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lb are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid A&P License.
• Must have at least 2 years of aircraft maintenance operations experience.
• Familiarity with aircraft logbook procedures and computer-based maintenance tracking systems.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a high-stress environment.
• Own tools and toolbox required.
• Excellent communication and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with maintenance tasks per ACI Jet procedures.
• Coordinate with hangar supervisors and Flight Operations for safe repairs.
• Maintain clean, orderly shop and properly document maintenance on forms.
• Debrief flight crew and support preflight/postflight checks.
• Utilize maintenance manuals, parts catalogs and reports.
• Support on-call duties and occasional travel as needed.
